Any ideas?
When I had 4.2 the clarity/ call quality was great. I upgraded to 45046 and I love the features and speeds. The problem is, now I hear a clicking/chopping noise during my calls. Happens a few times a minute. I tried using bluetooth and it wasn't there. I pulled battery a few times and just for effort disabled wifi(in case it was searching for hotspot).......still no luck.
Anybody have something I could try. I really don't want to go back to 4.2. I'm not even sure that would correct the problem.

Then upgrade to the most recent and stable release... 4.5.0.52

You can get it easily from OrangeUK and it is stamped as "official"

Downgrade your OS to the last known working OS or try a different Beta?

Its against forum rules to ask on where to find betas. Not many were found for the 8820. Also, the clicking sound could be caused by the BB, OS, or even the reception from the carrier. Its possible for other things as well. If you were to go back to your original OS and it was gone, then that answers your question.

went back to 42 184 and still have the noise clicking. Is there anyone out there who has another idea?
