    I got a new 8820 and when I put my AT&T SIM card....On right top it show two arrows both opposite direction to each other and SOS.

    I tried changing SIM card with international service provider. It got connected and it's working through T-Mobile network.

    Can someone help me understand why AT&A SIM not work in this phone when same AT&A in working in my Sansumg phone fine? What could be the issue and how reslove it?

    It sounds like the phone isn't actually unlocked.

    How can I check an unlocked Blackberry 8820 handset? If its still locked or unlocked??

    Try someone elses AT&T sim card.

    Go to options>advanced options>sim card, then type in mepd and it will tell you if your sim is locked and in what way.
