so i purchased a used 8830 here on the forums. when i recieved it, i compared the screen of the 8830 to the one of my current phone, an 8330 curve. the curve screen looked much more clear and crisp. it looked like there was a slight discolor to the screen of the 8830, almost like a yellowing on the sides.

is there any good reason for this?
will purchasing a new screen make this look better?
are there any videos on the web i can watch for a screen replacement tutorial?

    thanks alot.

Is it possible that the prior owner put a screen protector on the unit? Those can discolor after a while.
