I am trying to create my own home page for my 8830 but would like to retain access to the one that my Verizon 8830 now goes to when the browser is first opened. That link is apparently:

http://solutions/vzwshop.com/vzstart/bb8830/

I have placed a link to that site in my Hompage but when I attempt to access it, I get an error:

"http eror 503: Service Unavailable. The server is currently unable to handle your request due to a temp overloading or maintenance of the server......."

Details is not much better:

"The requested URL could not be retrieved...... (cites address link).... Unable to determine IP address from host name...."

If I stop/start browser the Verizon page works. So it appears it does not like me coming at it from the Homepage that I have created???

Ideas or am I just doing something wrong?

Try using a valid URL. The URL you posted above is not valid. I believe the URL you want is: http://solutions.vzwshop.com/vzstart/bb8830/
