I just got a new 8800 and have been chatting with messenger for about 2 weeks and suddenly I send messages to friends but can't see their reply. I feel the vibrate notice and even the bright smilie but can't see the messages.

what should I do to fix it?

have you tried to do a battery pull?

Also, have you tried to reload the OS?
