    I received a messenger notification icon (smiley) on my screen, but dont have any new instant or regular messages.
    I tried restarting my device but it didnt clear it up.
    Anyone????

    Did you check BlackBerry Pin Messenger? Make sure NOTHING has a + sign next to it...

    If it does, expand it, view it, accept it, etc, etc

    make sure to check your "messages" folder. you may have it hidden.
