I received a text message on my 8800, after reading I deleted it, when going back to the main screen it still shows as listed on my messages. The only way I can clear it is to remove the battery then put battery back in, this is now getting tedious.
Is there any updates needed or does it look like my 8800 is faulty.

I get this on Vodafone using the vodafone theme. The today screen always shows my last text message received. I have to then delete all my texts to get rid of it. Seemingly this is a known bug with this theme. I know you are on Orange but it might be worth trying a different theme and see if you still get the same issue. It doesn't happen with me when I change to any of the "Dimension" themes.
