I pressed something on the keypad (I have no idea what) and now all of my messages are listed oldest first. So I have messages from August of 2008 showing up instead of my text messages from tonight.
I know how to view the newest text messages (Alt I), but how do I reset the messages to display them newest first?

Interesting. I don't know how to do that, so I don't know how to undo it. Have you tried a battery pull? Remove the battery with the phone ON, leave it out a few seconds, then put it back. That will force the phone to reboot, and might fix the problem.
