    Hey guys.

First off, I'm new to a Blackberry. But I freakin' love it. 3rd day. lol. Regardless, I had a memory card from my previous EnV. SanDisk 1gb. It worked great with my Chocolate, KRZR, and EnV. But thus far the BB is saying it's not formatted or something. What's up with this? How do I format it then..??

    Thanks!!

go into options > media card > install

    then

    options > media card> format

let me know if you're still having a problem

"Media card cannot be read. Make sure that it is formatted." There's no option to format..? : (

Options (wrench symbol)----media card----menu key (blackberry symbol button)---scroll down to where it says "format card"

The Berry formats it to be 'more compatible' with the device. It creates the folders for ringtones, etc so that your media points to the microSD.
