Hi,
dumb question, what app is included in the BB to play MP3's? Is there one in the AT&T operating system or do I need to install a separate app?

The default media player installed on the device is used (it is called "media", and the icon on the default themes looks like a little film wheel if your having trouble finding it). There are also several 3rd party apps available to play mp3's as well.
