So I bought an 8 gig memory card (wow, haven't they gotten cheap? I was amazed at the low price!)
anyway...
I made a video that my blackberry couldn't "see" that was 2 gigs and since it couldn't "see" it, it couldn't delete it, but my memory on the card went down accordingly from 7.8 gigs to 6.8 gigs.
long story short, I used the format option on my 8830 to format my media card to get rid of the 2 gig video....
So now, while there is nothing on the card, my 8830 says there is only 3.3 gigs left on the card!
Any ideas?
Try removing the card and reinserting it. At that time I would also hook it up to a computer in mass storage mode to see how the computer reads it. It is not impossible to have gotten a bad card either. If the computer reads it correctly I would use the pc to reformat the card and start the process over.
