Just got a BB 8800 and I took the media card out of my BB Pearl and put it in the 8800, the files won't show. When I put it back it the Pearl, they show fine. When I connect to desktop manager, the card shows and so do the files but they won't open on the phone. What am I doing wrong?
I had a similar issue, when I FIRST switched devices. I say copy the content to a pc, then put the card in the 8800, and format it, then copy the data from the pc to the card...
Fixed!! I downloaded the files to my desktop and uploaded them to a different file on the media card, and everything works fine. I have no idea why but I'm happy it's working!! Thanks for your help..
