My 8830 WE has a few keys that have not actually stopped working but are producing the wrong letters when pushed. I'm assuming water damage? Anyways I have changed to a Curve 8330. I'm going to keep the 8830 WE for a back up phone in case the Curve butes the dust as well. So i'm trying to do a Master Wipe on the 8830 WE but when I need to punch in the word "blackberry" I can't cause my "b" key produces the letters "t" & "g" instead. Any thoughts on how I can still wipe it????

You can use JL_Cmder or CrackUtil, which you can download from the link in my sig.

    Thanks for the reply.
I'm assuming that means I'll have to sync my old BB in order to wipe it? Is there a way to do it without syncing?

You don't have to sync. Just connect the BlackBerry to a pc with a USB cable and run CrackUtil.
