Quite cheaply off of ebay. My Curve took a nasty fall and is away for repairs.

I'd been using a combo of my house phone and iPod Touch which is great, but curiously enough I find operating the Touch is a slow process. It works fast, but it's slow for me to do emails with it and so on.

Anyway, I know the 8800 is an old phone, but it seems to be a bit of a dark horse! Nice and rugged, great keyboard action and it's got all the media stuff too.

Great back up phone, pretty stoked with it.

I had mine for almost 2 years and never had a problem with it. Only got the 8900 because I needed the extra memory.

Mine was around 50 british pounds. Really glad i got it since my 8310 was broken and couldnt be repaired, was replaced with an 8520 which isnt as sturdy. So this 8800 is a great back up for my 9700. Very useable too.

Apols for lack of apostrophes, im typing this on an ipad.

Nice choice there mate, I've had mine since like ages, and apart from the mini usb connector (which I was able to get fixed for cheap), I hasn't cause me any problems. Awesome keyboard too, I guess we could say that this is the precursor of the famed "bold" keyboards. I'm still holding on to this coz I'm waitin for the 9800. In the mean time I got my storm1 as my media phone
