The link i was sent with the .alx file worked great! Installed it through device manager and now I can read my favorite websites again!

Fellas, this will be a short post. I wont reply because I don't have time, but you should be able to take it from here.

Installing Japanese font.

1. Backup your OS
2. Delete the "vendor" file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (Dont know if it necessary or not, but I did it)
3. First you want to find a OS that matches your own but that has EAST ASIAN LANGUAGE SUPPORT on the blackberry website. Do a google search for companies that use blackberry in Asia. I used "IndoSat". They have files posted on the blackberry website. I have 8830 so I used the 4.2.2 8820 installation files.
4. Install that OS. Installing it means that you are just copying it to your C drive. Do not actually put it on you blackberry.
5. Connect your blackberry to your pc
6.Go to your Apploader (in the Apploader Directory) and "add" a file in your downloaded OS directory (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\then your Dowloaded OS) this file is CJK.alx.
7. Load this file from the directory
8. It will install and cycle your blackberry

Done.

Not only can I read Japanese, but I can type in Japanese too!!! No need for that metamessage prog.
