    Ok I have a 4.2 version and have a few themes and a few programs if I upgrade to a 4.5 version will I lose these programs and themes??

    No. You will still have those. Atleast I did. I think if you upgrade it keeps certain aspects of the old OS, so you can still use certain things you did before.
