i am completely frustrated. usually my media players recognize my device, however they do not seem to be recognizing the 8800. please help.

If you're running Desktop Manager (DM) 4.2.something, you should be able to copy songs etc to the 8800 via Media Manager (Roxio).

If that fails for whatever reason, use the adapter that came with your memory card, and connect it to your pc...

Oh, another thing turn on the 'mass storage' on the device, connect it to the pc, then double click on My Computer. You will see another drive "Remote Storage", that should be the memory card of your device. So, just copy and paste...

As Navilyn has said used the mass storage mode and then drag and drop. I use a Mac and this works fine....
