Hi I have a BB 8800 bought from att refurbished. I moved to India and they gave me an unlock code. Since I "unlocked" it I can't get a sim card to work here in India. I went to the local phone place and they told me my phone was locked. Is there a simple way to tell? Thanks

Thats because your device is a CDMA device. It doesnt have a sim card. Only GSM devices do. Your device doesnt get unlocked.

at the risk of sounding stupid..... I have a boost mobile iden phone and boost uses both iden and cdma.... iden phones use sim cards.... or am i just dumb???????????
