I recently had my 8830 stolen and spent hours disabling programs and email accounts and the phone #, only to find out it was a friend that stole it by accident. My panic was due to the fact that in 18 months I haven't been able to figure out how to put a password on this thing! So I lose it and my my whole life is in someones hands for the taking. Well lesson learned. I'm here for HELP! Someone please babystep me through this? HOW DO I PUT A PASSWORD ON MY WORLD EDITION 8830?~S

Select the OPTIONS or Settings icon. Then find the SECURITY option. Then General Settings. Just don't forget the password - there can be NO recovery if you forget it - all data will be erased after a certain number of failed attempts.
