Hi, I apologize if this has been addressed, I looked but could not find any info.

I entered the wrong phone # for my company and can't figure out how to correct it.

Example: I have a collegues extension number entered within his address book entry (just the extension, no phone #). When I highlighted the ext # and pressed on the trackball my BB8830 asked if I wanted to enter my companies work #, which I did, only I entered it incorrectly.

How do I access this number to edit it to the correct #?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to the addresbook, find said contact. Now select menu / edit. Now edit accordingly. Unless I'm missing something here...

straight from the 8830 manual ...

    Set options for dialing extensions
    1. In the phone, press the Menu key.
    2. Click Options.
    3. Click Smart Dialing.
    4. In the Number field, type the main phone number for an organization.
    5. Set how long the BlackBerry device waits before dialing an extension.
    6. In the Extension Length field, set the default length for extensions.
    7. Press the Menu key.
    8. Click Save.
