How can I remove Call Log out of 'Messages'?

Can somebody please tell me how to remove my Call Log out of my Messages application...with so many call coming in and going out, it clutters up the Messages.

1. In the message folder click the application button
2. scroll to view folder
3. go to phone call logs
4. scroll to top of screen
5. click the application button
6. choose delete prior
That should delete your call list.

In call log
press menu key
scroll to options and select
go to call logging press select.
select none

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but ..... I want to keep a call log, just not in my message box. How can I have both, but do so separately?

In the past I did it by accessing my email through the email icon instead of through the generic messages icon -- but the drawback there is the email icon doesn't include other message types like Facebook, voicemail, etc.

So basically I want all of my message types in one place, and my call log someplace else. Help?

May not answer your question but I'll give it a shot...
if you select your call key then select your menu key, scroll down the menu list a select "Options". Now select "Call Logging" .
From here you should be able to select which call logs you want populated in your message lists.

This works :)

The same thing can be achieved by going to OPTIONS --> PHONE OPTIONS --> CALL LOGGING. From there, click NONE:

Show these call log types in your Messages list:

( ) Missed Calls
( ) All Calls
(x) None

This keeps the call logs OUT of your inbox. You can still see your call logs when you press the Call button.
