I am going nuts. The hourglass comes up every 4 seconds for just shy of a second and while this happens data arrows occasionally pop up as well. It is draining my battery at an insane speed.

I have tried several battery pulls and to no avail. I have absolutely no additional programs running. The only thing that should be communicating is my gmail email that is pushed.

What is going on?

Your memory might be full go to options status and see if device memory is at 0.

this happened to me and I just needed to delete a bunch of useless stuff and it ran faster.

Yeah, check your memory. If batt pulls aren't working, u may have a mem issue and may need to delete some un needed apps/games....
