I had been using Act but lately had to shift to Outlook for various reasons. So my syncing changed from Act to Outlook.
Now, when I transferred my data to my 8830, the phonebook only has the barebones info in it and not the notes that I had. There are a zillion notes that are lost.
How would you suggest I transfer the notes that were in the phone book from my old blackberry to my new one? Thanks
Did you backup using Desktop Manager? If so all you have to do is a restore. Or, if you still have the old phone, use the "switch device" feature in Desktop Manager.

I did restore this way...but then I sync'ed and I think this is where I went wrong. Why won't this sync from outlook and include my notes? Maybe there are settings I wasn't aware of?
