Forgive me if this was mentioned somewhere before but I searched and couldn't find a definitive answer. I need to load a Java application to my 8830. There is no OTA available even though the website says there is. I now have the application downloaded to my pc which when unzipped has 2 files in it, one with a jar extension and the other with a jad extension.
Would anyone know which one I need to put on my BB for this app to run? Also, how do I get it there? googling came up with one way where I can convert this to a COD file type but I would prefer something simpler (if possible).
Thanks but the app is not in .alx format. It's a jar/jad format and I was wondering if there was a way to install the app as is without any conversion...
