Are you looking to unlock your Blackberry to use it with other carriers?
Jailbreaking is an iPhone issue. There are no hidden features or functions that you can unlock in a BlackBerry. As the poster above noted, you can unlock a GSM BlackBerry for use on another carrier, but your 8830 is primarily a CDMA device. The GSM side of it can be unlocked for use in Europe, but its GSM radio is not compatible with North American GSM frequencies, so you cannot use it on AT&T or T-Mobile, for examples.
