8800 is frozen with hourglass symbol on screen, which goes black then lights up again every few seconds. Switching off does not help, pulling battery makes no difference, alt-shift-del makes no difference, it will not reset and just goes on doing the same thing over and over, all night and all day. I think I was using Google Maps when it froze between views and has been stuck ever since. Any ideas, 'cos I think my next step is going to be taking a hammer to it!!
Mine does the same thing. I deleted a few new games and it fixed it for a while. Now back to the same hourglass rotating forever. Hooking it up to the PC does seem fix it. totally annoying. I think it is a VIRUS!!
