Does anyone know where I can update my flash player for the 8800?
Welcome to CrackBerry.com
Are you going to a particular site on the device, and thus it's asking you to update the 'flash player'? Or, is it something else?
Yes, im going to a site and it says my flash player needs updated.
Ok...
...and the website address is? I've never had this issue, thus the multiple questions. Unless it's adult content or something, and you don't want to tell us! LMAO - :D
You tube says I need to upgrade to new flash player. I am using a balckberry curve
Does anyone know where to download a newer player
I have gotten the same thing on my new 8800 saying my flash player needed updating. I got it on one of the news sites. I believe it was CNBC or MSNBC. Where can I find an update for it.
Also, how do you save to your card and not the device itself?
Right now am on MSNBC, and it works fine, not asking for anything. So, I need an exact link to test this properly...
As for 'memory card', while saving you should have an option for media card, no?
navilyn - as for an address to see this message, go to youtube.com and try to watch any video and you will recieve this message. When i go to the adobe flash site to upgrade the page just keeps reloading everytime you select downloads...ugh...
Ok, this is the 'skinny'. YouTube does not play on BlackBerry's, period!
But, from a pc, if you get the link for the said video, then go here, enter said link, and choose a conversion. Save it, and copy it to your device...
...another site here, for conversions of YouTube videos.
seeqpod dot com requires adobe flash player

Why not? Flash content is very common. Is there a developer working on this?

I haven't found any information on anyone developing anything but I agree it needs to be done. I'm on a car drive right now from west coast to east coast and just want to get the march madness bracket but am having problems because flash player is used for a lot of the site
Another oldie goldie thread brought back to life. It always seems to happen on Sunday morning. It is cool though; I had not seen anyone address Navi as Navilyn in a while. It brought back memories.:)
