I purchased a "new" 8830 from a seller on e-bay, and it has a firewall that will not let me listen to pandora or slapster. I bought it, downloaded the most recent software and got it up and running through verizon.Everything else works fine, but if I download pandora, I get a message that says that I have a firewall block.....can anyone help? Vendor suggested that there was an easy fix on crackberry site......I have a warrenty, but would like to try to resolve this without replacement if possible.

first look in Options-Security options- Firewall. Uncheck all boxes.

Did you tried a battery pull, wiped the phone, reinstall OS?
