I have outlook open, the desktop redirectory OFF, and still I get a few emails here and there to my phone.

Considering how much email i get, and many of it comes in the middle of the night, this is becoming extremely annoying.

How can I have email NOT directed to my blackberry? I figured by keeping outlook open, it would download the messages (when I have outlook closed, all email goes to my bberry whether i like it or not)

You could always set up a nightime profile that doesn't alert you to emails, if the alert is annoying you.

You will get the emails whether your computer is on or not.

When you don't want to get an alert for them, you can change the profile to phone only, then change it back when you want to.
