    Hallo, I have a problem with a device BlackBerry 8800 - I cannot reach “EDGE” and connect internet – I can use only calls and SMS with “edge”

    My SIM Card - T-mobile Czech Europe – GPRS / EDGE / Black Barry Enterprise and Data Plan activated

    by my company we use BB Enterprise Service –but only my device do not work (the other use BB Pearl)

    Operator said – everything OK and activated.

    My device Diagnostic Report:

    First of all Welcome. Thanks for all the information.

    I would suggest possible changing your APN to : internet.t-mobile.cz

    Not sure if the U/N and Password should be blank. But having done a ittle research, i think you might be right.

    I'd confirm with the carrier you are in an area that should be getting EDGE in the first place. Sounds like you have done everything else right.

    I did not instal Opera yet so I suggest its using BB Browser.

    are you trying to use the blackberry browser or the WAP browser?
    not sure on the APN, mine is blackberry.net on the 8800. on my laptop(t-mobile card) internet2.voicestream.com is mine.

    I actually have the same problem on my Pearl also - I just received it and it took ages to connect to t-mobile's network and I'm still not registered on the blackberry network - T-mobile has done everything possible and now they're trying to get RIM to help figure it out.

    I have the lower cased edge, although I'm in Seattle and my white pearl connected immediately - I also have NO access to the WAP browser and am attempting to d/l Opera mini to see if it helps - at least the T-mobile browser works..

    Has anyone else had a similar problem?
