Is there a way to disable the text message that is sent each time a new voice message is left? I already get the cassette icon letting me know I have a new voice message. It is just extra work to go into the SMS folder and delete the new text message each time a voice message is sent.

I don't want to loss the icon just the text message.

Unfortunately this isn't a BlackBerry thing, it's an AllTell thing. If you log into your voicemail and go to "Administrative Options" (I think you get there by pressing 4 if I recall correctly) you can disable the SMS option.

(P.S. I used to have Alltell)

I did not find any options to change when in the Administrative options or any options in voice message options.

I called Alltel support and they confirmed this is an option that they have to change.

How do you disable the text with VZW. No option to disable is VM options.
