Sorry if solution has been posted but when I go to make a phone call on my 8800 I have to use the top row of keypad to dial

*=1 w=2 e=3 etc and p=0 at end of keypad
I ve gone thru options
and Im stumped
Phone is on Rogers on unlocked 8800

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking how to dial the number shown on the key instead of the letter or symbol?

If you are in the Phone application, you should just be able to press the number keys to enter the phone number. If you are trying to dial from the homescreen, press the "Alt" key and then the key with the number you want.
