I just had to transfer my old 8830 to my new one. I backed up my file, but it looks like the only thing that didn't transfer over was all of my BBM contacts... Never encountered this problem and this is my fourth device transfer. I searched some forums but didn't find anything that would help. If anyone knows how to import bbm contacts from my backup file, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I had issues on my last device transfer. Hopefully you made a full back up. Try loading that also. If you have your BBM contacts saved as regular contacts, which I highly suggest doing, they will load just fine. I had issues with my address book only loading about half of the contacts under Device Transfer.
