I recently downloaded the desktop software 4.3 from RIM for my PC. Apparently I made a mistake in setting it up. I may have indicated that we use an Enterprise server. At any rate, now I get a flood of emails daily from network@etp... with an attachment called "etp.dat" and asking me not to delete, move, or respond to the message. It will be processed by the server.
I removed the desktop software from my PC, but I still get the messages. What can I do to fix this annoying situation?
Go to Options/Advanced/Service Books on your BB and in that list. Anything you see that has your email and calendar listed with [Desktop] in the title, delete them.
When you reinstall Desktop Mananger, pick Internet instead... should be the second choice.
