Hello,

the 8800 is off: when i put the charging plug in after 3 sec. the yellow flash just turns on for about 1 sec. (does not flash) becomes green for half a sec. and turns off. It is deff. not charging.

the 8800 is on: when i put the charging plug in after 3 sec. there shows a flash symbol at the left corner right next to the battery symbol. After two more sec. it vanishes again. It is deff. not charging.

I got the 8800 from a colleague. Played with it for two days. I have to charge NOW. I even took out the battery and put it in again. The battery indikator is on its last menue bar and i turned it off.

I NEED HELP!!!!!

It could also be a charger issue. Use a different one, preferably a wall charger. USB ports don't always have enough power to charge a BlackBerry, and car chargers are notoriously unreliable.

Thanks to everybody. It is the power plug of the charging cable. I renewed the software on my laptop and it works. Next week I will check the power plug with a friend.
