Help please. I have a new BB 8820. I've set up the bluetooth, etc, but no other devices can 'see' it. it can 'see' other devices but every time i attempt to send something via bluetooth it says 'failed'
It's not enough to be able to see another bluetooth device. You have to pair the two. Put one of them in discoverable mode and search for it with the other. Follow your device's prompts to pair them.
Here's what I do when trying to bluetooth. I go into my phone and search for the other person and pair the phones. Then, you have to go into your pictures or ringtones and click the options button and do receive using bluetooth if somebody is sending you something and then they have to try to send it to you. If you're wanting to send you have to do the send using bluetooth option. I hope this helps!
