I have a BB 8830 and I'm running 4.2.2.196 (verizon) I wanted to upgrade to 4.5.0.77 but I can not find the program "net_rim_bb_medialoader_qualcomm.cod. I looked in the the Java dir. (4.2.2.196) and it is not there. I wanted to take that program and rename it ".........8830.cod and put it in the Java dir in 4.5. I need help
You won't find it because it's not there. You need to pull it from a previous version of 4.5, which I'm assuming you don't have. I'm sure there are previous versions of 4.5 out there you can find so you can get that file.
Some folks have attached that file to some threads either here or on the other blackberry forum, as well, as attaching a zip with the actual mps/mid tunes if you want a manual way to load them.
Can anyone help? is that why i can't play movies with the new 4.5 os for my 8830? I was able to watch movies i converted to 3gp and now i can't. I like this new os and don't want to downgrade back to the 4.2os can anyone help me please? I know I am a newbie to this site so any help would be good.
