I have a 8800 that I am trying to sell to a friend. I was on Rogers and he is with Fido, so I switched the SIM cards and it stated it was an invalid SIM. I purchased an unlock code and volla the phone is unlocked.
Now the phone accepts the FIDO SIM card but it still is trying to connect to the Rogers network and is roaming. The goal is to use this as a phone and SMS and no data at this time. I have cleared the service book, set up FIDO as the prefered network and it chooses Rogers before Fido.
How can I force it to connect to the FIDO network.
