I just installed the 4.5 OS and everything has been going smoothly till now. if i go to create a new profile for some custom alert tones, i can set everything EXCEPT my email messages, messenger "alert" and messenger "new message" also cannot set the "tasks" one. i can highlight them and menu>edit but nothing happens. the prompt to change the settings wont come up. what gives?? i also cant access the "about" title in my options menu.
Other thoughts. if i do a battery pull, i have about 17 000 000 memory. but after about an hour and a half and about 12 text messages im down to 12 501 104. HELP!
are you sure you know what im asking. im not missing the tones. the phone simply doesnt do anything when those options are highlighted. im aware that the 4.5 OS doesnt come with tones and ive already added my own. will adding this extra file allow me to do what i was asking ? i.e. when i click "about" it will show me my system version and such, it doesnt do that right now.
sorry if i came off as rude. i was on 4.5.0.77 and i decided instead of trying to debug what was wrong, to scrap it and upgrade to .177 (.127) everything is honkey dorey now. thanks for the help
The same thing happened to me...the profile would just not open the browse menu. It happened after I upgraded. From what I remember it was a bug with the upgrade. I just had to deal with it the same annoying alert for my mail. Luckily I got a new phone.
