Thank you so much, the Telus folks didn't have a clue. Were nice though. Anyways, my solution path was a bit different. Chose the email account below the contacts menu and then options and checked the "sync" off. then went to the desk manager and the address book was there in bold. Was able to restore. Thank you so much.

NOW Another QUESTION for you and everyone...

If I am moving from BB to windows/Android./Apple (forceabley) Than how can I move my 1500 BB contact from this to the new smart (so called) phone?

I am technically challenged though sell telecom solutions myself, LOL!
