I had to get a new 8830 (the old one had issues) and I decided to download the Desktop Manager v4.3 instead of using v4.2 that came with my initial CD. I'd downloaded the calendar patch when I got my first phone, and the calendar reminders worked fine. Now, I've got v4.3 (thinking the patch would've been incorporated), my reminders don't work, and the calendar patch "is not required for this version."
Yep - I downloaded that directly onto the phone but when I clicked on it (in Advanced Options), it said that the patch wasn't required for "this version."
