I just got my 8830 last week and so far i love it, apart from the browser. On my old 7280 I could click the browser, and click where I wanted to go. Now on the 8830 i click the browser and it goes to some verizon site with just a few sites I can go to.
If I go to options under browser it only says internet browser. I would like to have a home page of goolge, or a regular homepage. At least something I can search on. Right now it is pretty limited on the web browsing.
I just go to the menu and select Go To, then I type in the google.com and then I can set up google home page. When you exit just hit the red hang up button. The next time you select the browser you will be right back where you left it.
