It occurred to me that I can talk to the 8830 to dial people in my address book. Why can't the 8830 announce verbally a caller ID? Is there a way. It would be nice, especially if I'm driving to know who is calling via the BT headset.

Nope, no can do. It does not supprt A2DP either! But, it does play music in your ear when you receive a call. Not the ringtone from your phone, its a default ringtone in the headset...

I got my Jawbone to play music and my notification sounds. I posted the link here before, but the original post (on another site) was edited out for some reason.

Look on AIM for evolutionCSR. He will provide instructions, but he no longer posts on the original site.
