I puchased a set of Blueant X5i Stereo headset for my 8830. It works fine for phone calls but I can not listen to music on it. When I play songs they just play out of the blackberry and not through the headphones although they are paired to the device and running. Any ideas??

Do you have the latest OS on your BB8830?

The bb is only a couple months old from verizon. I am not sure how to check which os I am operating.
