    So I have a 8830 WE from Verizon... And for the past 2 weeks i have been getting a white screen saying App Error 523 with a reset button... I have a 4gig card in it but the problem started before i put it in... Also once it resets it clears out my sms inbox and my call log... Anyone else had this problem? I've gone to several verizons considering i do the burglar and camera systems for verizon and i've been told it's a OS problem to needing to get my phone replaced... any help would be nice...

    Could easily be some OS corruption, any program faults or errors?
    Any chance of upgrading the OS? Or are you running the newest version?

    Do you have the Desktop Software installed?

    You can check your OS version in options -->about

    Reload latest OS. If that doesn't work, replace the phone.

    i just loaded the latest OS i could find... So i guess i'll find out tomorrow if i need to replace my phone... thankfully i've backed everything up though

    ok so i did load the latest OS and it didn't stop my white screen of death... guess i have to order a new phone
