Looking for suggestions for the following problems:
-double entries in my BB calendar
-entries in my BB calendar that will not delete
-receiving this error message when I attempt to delete entries in my calendar:
"Appointment Deleted externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed."
I followed instructions from another post about using the Backup/Restore function on Desktop Manager and it did not work.
The Backup/Restore window shows that the data has been erased, but it is still there on the handheld.
I'd love to use this wonderful new BlackBerry that I've heard so much about.
If Outlook is correct then go to Backup/Restore and Advanced in DM and just clear the Calendar database on the phone. Then resync and all the correct entries from Outlook will get put on the phone.
I tried that as per my post above, and nothing was deleted from the BB calendar even though the Backup/Restore window shows that all entries were deleted.
When I attempt to click on those entries on the handheld, I get this message: Appointment Deleted externally. Changes will be lost and the viewer closed
