For the second time in about a month I have received an email on my BB8830 that I must update my password on the Blackberry Internet Service. Why is this? My girlfriend has never had to do this on her phone.
When BIS cannot connect after several attempts to the email account, you will get a message like that. You need to sign into BIS and Validate the account, not update the password. Click on the red icon with the x through it next to your account.
