    hello,

I've just bought a 8820 on Orange and notice the manual keeps referring to "in the phone". I'm trying to set up speed dials in this case and have worked out the shortcut but if I wanted to do it according to the manual i.e.

    1. In the phone, press the Menu key.
    2. Click View Speed Dial List.

this doesn't seem to work. Am I missing a trick here? I can see every other application but not one called "phone".

    Many thanks.

"In the Phone" means push the green phone key, then the Menu key.

I was rather confused about that myself when I 1st got my BB. RIM should put in the manual "in the phone application (press green talk button)". After all technically anywhere you are in the software is "the phone" because the device is a phone.
