First post woo.(Sorry for it to be on a bad note) I have been reading threads and blogs on Crackberry for awhile. I just got a 8330. My good friend just got a 8830. He asked me to up date the os so i followed the sticky and there was some error. Now his phone wont start back up just a black screen. I took the battery out and try everything i don't know what to do. Pleas help Pleaseeee

Welcome to CB. Could you please tell us what the error message was? Simply stating "there was some error" is not very helpful. Any additional details you can give about what you did leading up to the problem?

Look in the 101 section for a nuked berry

leading up to this i was upgrading the os. to the one from this link

cant post urls i was trying to upgrade to 4.2.2.196

toward the end it said something like probelm connect files may be corrupt. im not really sure

i dont know if its nuked only because the screen doesnt turn on. a nuke is constant restarting this doesnt even turn on just the red blinking lights. i am going to try and follow the guide and fix this
