The default setting for "Backlight Timeout" under "Options" - "Screen/Keyboard" was 30 sec. My backlight always goes out after max. 15 sec., even though I increased this parameter to 45 sec. What gives?
The backlight timeout on my 8820 randomly does the same thing. I have heard that the OS update solves this issue. I will be interested to see if that is the case.
This might sound strange but mine is at 2 min and it always seemed to timeout at that time. Lately, I would say the last 2 weeks that sometimes it has been a little quicker. Not every time but enough for me to notice.
Its interesting to see that it is happening with others.
